The best most beautiful day of my entire life 

Here I am after 1 year of praying, 9 months of pregnancy, 20 hours of labor, and 2 hours of pushing. My baby was placed in my arms and I completely lost it...the BEST feeling ever.

side notes...

-I am not as sleep deprived as everyone said I would be..I hear about something scary called the 4 month sleep regression..so near future :/

-Breast feeding is going great so far!!

- I do get a shower every day

-Postpartum emotions are real....

-Daddy went back to work after 5 days and we survived. 

Friday Favorites!!!

I haven't done a favorites post in a while..so I figured I would do one right before baby comes!!! 

#1. THIS pillow from Target. This is pretty much a must have if you are nine months pregnant! this pillow gives me tons of back support to where I'm not using my stomach muscles, it will be great for a C-section recovery, also super easy to use for breast feeding. I LOVE IT!

I recently decided it would probably be wise to start really taking care of my skin.. usually my skin care regimen consists of a makeup wipe ( Neutrogena brand whoop!), a dollop of Cetaphil on my Clarisonic Mia (<<<----- GET ONE NOW) and moisturizing afterwards. Not terrible but also not great for my 27 year old skin.  After a trip to Sephora and trying out numerous samples I decided to go with Kate Somerville's line and I. AM. OBSESSED. My skin has never felt better and although her products can seem a little bit pricey the outcome is so much better than I would have thought.

#3.  These Tanks are seriously SO comfortable!! They are nursing friendly but also so awesome for just an every day tank. I wore mine all throughout pregnancy ( in every stage) they are seamless and form fitting so they give your belly support when it is at the very heavy end stages. I ordered two black and two white and have used them constantly!! I sleep in them, workout in them, and wear them underneath sheer blouses. Awesome

Technically I don't really have to write anything because if you are obsessed with OITNB...you just know. If you haven't watched it....GO AND BINGE NOW!!!!! This show MAY or may not be up your alley... I didn't think I would like it at first but I became hooked. I am not gonna lie I may have watched season 4 in two days.

Nine months and counting....

Month 9

Ohhhh to be finally NINE months pregnant...almost in my 38th week!! Baby is big and running out of room!!!! A few thoughts for this special last month of being pregnant:

I prayed for this child and the LORD has granted me what I have asked of him; 1 Samuel 1:27

We truly feel SOO honored and blessed to be given this baby boy!! I have just been elated this whole entire pregnancy ( up until about now...now he just needs to come out :)) and have absolutely enjoyed being pregnant!!! This pregnancy came without any complications and I felt beautiful the entire time! Thank you Lord for this amazing and special time in life!! I actually can't wait to do it all over again:)! Maybe in a year or two though!

* Mama still loves spicy mexican food, queso, shaved ice, frozen yogurt, fruit, hamburgers, and 

salads

* I LOVE LOVE rocking the bump! I love all pregnant bellies and mine is my favorite!!!

* I do not sleep. :(

* wedding rings are off, hands and feet are swollen and it's real hot here in Texas ya'll 

* I have gained a total of 31 lbs 

* I still walk every single morning and swim most afternoons to relieve hip joint pain

* Every morning I take time to go into Jax's room and just look around, pray, or sit still and feel him move. 

* Jax loves to keep his feet high in mama's ribs and also he loves to head butt his head in her nether regions and makes her feel like she is having an electrical shock problem down there!!!!

* I have never been more ready in my life to love, snuggle, and take care of my tiny boy. I hope you come soon Jaxie. <3 

I have an obsession with Mocktails. I try and create different recipes and I almost always use Trader Joe's organic juices for them!!!

Also I love starbucks..:)

Mornings in my baby's room are special..and quiet for now :)

Life Lately!!

Haha!! I laughed so hard when I saw this..its so true!!! I , for the life of me, CANNOT wiggle out of bed anymore!!! This belly is so big!!! I usually take a few minutes each morning to lay in bed and just feel baby Jax kick. I know we are going to be nearing the end of this pregnancy soon and although I am SOOOO ready to meet him, I really love just feeling him every morning just the two of us :) Then I waddle out of bed like this turtle ^^^^

Pedicures while pregnant are literally the best thing ever. I have always loved them but now.. omg they are everything!!!!!

Happy Memorial Day!!!! 

We celebrated memorial day just the two of us at my parents house while they were out of town. It was great..I swam, Brandon cooked, we listened to music, and then we came home and put together Baby Jax's high tech super cool monitor :/ I had to have a few lessons but I think I have got it down. Its the motorola MB3 for those interested. 

I did all my baby's laundry :) The smell of the baby detergent was heavenly!

As of the past two weeks my feet no longer fit into anything but flip flops.. so my husband ( who rarely does the whole "surprise " thing) went out and bought me these shoes!! It was seriously so sweet of him!! He could have thrown in a cupcake but I mean I won't complain.

We collected fresh veggies from the ranch..and then gave tons of them away to our neighbors!!!

Mom and I enjoyed a spa day at our favorite JW Marriott. I took my time and took everything in because I know this is the last bit of pampering before I'm a MOM!!!!!!!!!
